Under instruction from the new owners The Landmark Trust and Adrian Stenning QS, Ellis and Co completed a programme of conservation repairs and renovation to return the house to residential occupancy. The work took place June 2018 to April 2019.

The project included stripping and relaying the Purbeck stone tiled roofs with the original roof tiles, now cleaned, alongside new roof tiles. New copper sheet roofing and asphalt roofing has also been laid and lead gutters and flashings repaired. The exterior masonry has been repaired and pinned with cintec anchors. Internally, masonry has been repaired, replastered and redecorated with adjustment to ceiling and wall partitions. Oak floors have been damp proofed and insulated and relaid. A complete M&E package including electrics, lighting, fire alarms and plumbing have been installed and bathrooms fitted.
