Masonry, timber and lime repairs

Ellis and Co completed a programme of structural stabilisation, repairs and restoration roofing of The Granary. This historic scheduled monument lies in the southern precinct of the remains of St Peters Benedictine Abbey at Abbotsbury.

Dunshay Manor, is a Grade II listed building dating to the C16th with C17th additions. It is known for its role in the arts and crafts movement and was redesigned in this style in the early C20th.

Refurbishment of a Grade I Elizabethan House owned by the Field Studies Council.

Ellis and Co refurbished the interior of the property including plasterwork, joinery repairs to failing beams, doors and windows. Flooring, and electrical and plumbing installations.

Restoration of a Grade I listed 14th Century Chapel and Community Centre.

The Old Bluecoat School is an interesting Grade I listed building of mixed materials with origins in the 14th Century. National Trust note it as “One of the most important buildings in the area and of National importance”.

Ellis and Co repaired and redecorated this late 1800's Grade II listed church in Cheltenham.

The church of St Gregory the Great is a Grade II listed building consecrated in 1875 after a mid- 1800’s rebuild. Ellis and Co were commissioned as principle contractor to extensively repair and redecorate the interior of the building. Including revealing historic wall paintings.

Plaster conservation and repair of a Grade I listed stately home reminiscent of Inigo Jones.

St Giles House houses fine examples of 17th and 18th Century decorative plaster work throughout the main rooms. Exemplified in ceilings in the now restored dining rooms which were built in the 1650’s in a style suggestive of Inigo Jones.
