We reinstated the roof to the main part of the tower and turrets, installed lightening protection provided weather protections to the windows and openings, created a new ledged and braced door and oak frame, removed iron cramps from stonework, strengthened the structure and repointed brickwork. Our leadworkers created and installed a bespoke leadwork hopper and rainwater downpipes. Work was instructed by Phillip Hughes & Associates. This completion of this project has lead to the removal of this property from Historic England’s at Heritage at Risk Register.
