The Engine Shed in Swindon is home to Historic Englands' headquarters. In October 2017, damaged slates from the Engine House roof were posing a health and safety risk to pedestrians and staff. It is an extenstive building with 10 slopes in all and in 2019 Ellis and Co were commissioned to repair them. This work is now finished and a case study about the work is available to download.
